The sunny start to the week was the perfect weather for the painting of the Town of Hamelin by the Swifts and Blackbirds.
The Blackbirds and the Swifts worked together in a collection of Outdoor and Active challenges linked to the story of the Pied Piper of Hamelin. Here Mrs Arbuthnott listens to their music.

 

Row, row row your boat!! Two Kingfishers complete the rowing activity in the Sports Science Roadshow. Every pupil had a go at the 6 activities that where supervised by Hinchingbrooke Young leaders

Outdoor Team challenges were completed by all classes. Thanks to Edd Sibson, from Grafham Water who 'challenged' the pupils all day.

As part of their Britain since 1950's history unit, the Eagles dressed up for a 1960/70s day. They enjoyed traditional food, games and dances from these decades.. do you remember enjoying  a slice of Arctic Roll!!

Mrs Arbuthnott carefully shows the Swifts the plant roots before they 'pot them on'. But what are they growing?

Here are the infamous Pinafore Pirates.. who had cunning plans to take over the world!!
But they changed their minds after meeting the handsome men in uniform!!

growing fast, thanks to our farmers!

Y6 enjoyed a Big Breakfast to mark the end of their early morning Booster sessions. Thank you to all parents and school staff who helped to 'feed the Y6' every Tuesday and Thursday.

Handa's Surprise is a book the Robins have enjoyed this week. As well as drawing the fruit they all enjoyed eating the fruit!!

The Kingfishers have been carrying out rock studies as part of their science.

If you look closely you can see all the different parts of a flower. This is an activity completed by the Puffins.

Mr Gould visited the Kestrels and talked to them about Habitats, to link in with their science investigations.

Our year 6 girls have filmed and edited a movie of their  fashion show during their CC4G club.

Why did the Kingfishers have to eat all the noodles? you will have to wait until their film is shown!! The Kingfishers have written, directed and filmed  a movie.. now they are editing it .

This is the first lesson for the Eagles on the African Drums, which FOSS have purchased for the school.
