 Spaldwick After School Club (SClub)

S Club is based in the Playtimes building next to Spaldwick School.  Any child attending the school can register to use the club.

S Club was set up to provide a properly supervised, affordable childcare facility, which extends the school day for working parents.  S-Club aims to be a high-quality childcare facility catering for children aged 4-11 years in a happy, secure environment.

The club has a wide range of toys, games, creative resources and leisure equipment to suit all ages.  The emphasis is on fun and relaxation.  We aim to provide an enriching and stimulating environment where children can try out new things, make new things and play.  Children are offered daily creative activities and a time for outside play whenever possible.

During the after-school session, children will be offered a drink and a snack.  The adult/child ratio at S Club is a maximum of 8 children to 1 member of staff.  All members of staff are cleared through Ofsted and have checks done by the Criminal Records Bureau before working at the club.  S Club also requires all members of staff to have relevant qualifications or experience of working with children.

S Club operates from 3.20pm to 6.00pm on all days when the school is open.  It is a self-funding non-profit making organisation.  We are a member of the Kids' Club Network Programme.  S Club is regulated and inspected by Ofsted.
