Miss Prior

Rachel Prior is the Head Teacher, she loves to play the cymbals and tries to steal Easter eggs. She works in the school and looks after everyone. She is funny, her favourite things are sausages and curly wurlies. She has a black car and likes to go to the garden centre and buy things for her garden.

Mrs Arbuthnott

Vicky Arbuthnott works in Reception and year1. She has a dog called Daisy and some chickens.  Mrs Arbuthnott is the  Deputy Head. She also helps with Special Needs in school and is one of our First Aid people and looks after us all.

Mrs Bickerdike

Faith Bickerdike is a very kind teacher who teaches the Kingfishers,  Year Three  children. She always helps pupils when they get stuck and never gives up. She has some special pet hedgehogs and quails.

Mrs Bell

Pam Bell teaches the Eagles, Year 6 children. Everyone likes being in Mrs Bell's class. She is smiley and kind. She sometimes takes our assemblies.

Mrs Saunders

Jenny Saunders is teaches in Puffins who are year 5 pupils, she is in school from Tuesday each week. She is good at finding things, she has a kind heart and is a miracle! Mrs Saunders makes sure all our growing areas are full of plants.

Mrs Berridge

Cathy Berridge teaches the Swifts on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday. She is kind and helpful. She loves Maths and times tables. She is very good with whiteboards. She has lovely writing.

Mr Hatton

 Keith Hatton teaches the Kestrels Year 4 in key stage 2. Mr Hatton wears glasses and looks smart. He is also kind and helpful. He loves football and supports Arsenal. He loves to travel the world and has been to Australia.  He enjoys running a drama club.

Miss Vasey

Miss Vasey works as a teacher in the Swifts and Blackbirds class.  [Our Y1 and Y2 class] Miss Vasey also helps our Library Monitors look after our Library. She has brown hair and is very kind to everyone. She used to do Top Gear Readers.

Mrs Leaver

Alison Leaver is a kind person, she works in the ICT suite. She likes working with children who are polite and smiley. She also teaches RE, Dance, and speaking and Listening. She likes cooking with pupils and reading stories especially if she can use her puppets.

Mrs Burrin

 

Michele Burrin does lots of displays around the school and makes great props for the school productions. She works in Puffins class.

Mrs Robinson

Joan Robinson has worked at the school for a long time.  Mrs Robinson is very keen on literacy and often works with groups of children helping with that subject.  She is brilliant at quizzes and led the school to victory in the HuntSNet quiz.  Well done Mrs Robinson and all the rest of the team.

Mrs Allen

Linda Allen is a teaching assistant in Kestrels class and thoroughly enjoys this. She does Jazz Dance after school. Mrs Allen is also a school Governor.


Mrs Bank-Popple

Carol Banks-Popple works in the office at her computer.  Mrs Banks-Popple does all the financial things in the office.  She is very good on the computer and helps all the teachers to order things for the school. Mrs Banks-Popple also has to keep the bus list up to date - a very difficult task!

Mrs Hesketh

 

 

Carolyn Hesketh also works in the office every morning.  She is the voice you will most likely hear at the end of the phone when you ring the school.  One of her other jobs is to deal with the dinner money. Mrs Hesketh is also excellent on the computer.

Sharon Boddington works in the office on Thursday and Friday. She will be sitting at the window ready to answer any questions you might have.

Mrs Thomas

 Felicity Thomas works with a pupil in Kestrels and in Swifts. She has brown hair and loves the colour orange. She has 2 dogs and walks to school every day.

Mr Pearce

Edd Pearce is our school caretaker and also works as a teaching assistant and lunchtime supervisor. He polishes the hall floor and fixes things. He wears flowery shirts and sometimes has to go on the roof.

                            Mrs Harbour

Mrs Harbour helps in Kingfishers  and Eagles class. She has blue eyes and wears a necklace. Her favourite colour is amber. She helps in the library such as tidying the books. She has 2 dogs and really enjoys working in school.

Mrs Balchin

Rosemary Balchin works in Kingfishers and Blackbirds. She has curly hair and wears glasses which help with reading. Her favourite food is strawberries and cream

Mrs Page

Dionne Page is a nice helper in the Robins class on a Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday. Mrs Page is also a First Aider. Mrs Page likes gardening and is very kind.

Mrs Whitlock

Jane Whitlock works in the Swifts and Blackbird classroom . She enjoys reading with the Swifts and choosing new books with them. Se is very kind. Her birthday is in July. Mrs Whitlock also  enjoys working with some children in special maths groups.

Mrs Bennett

Janet Bennett is a teaching assistant who hears everyone read. She has a sports car and enjoys it when we have dressing up days.  Mrs Bennett has been working with children for a long time and enjoys her time in school.  Mrs Bennett often bakes and makes lovely things for the adults in the staff room.  Thank you Mrs Bennett.

Mrs Loakes

Maxine Loakes works in Puffins and Kingfishers classes. She has a kind heart, blonde hair and shiny eyes. Mrs Loakes is very friendly and always happy. She helps you when you are hurt.

Emma Belgrove works with a pupil in Kestrels, she has 3 cats and a dog called Woody. She loves Indian food but doesn't like the colour orange.

Clare Hindmarsh is the assistant of Mrs Arbuthnott. Mrs Hindmarsh likes ducks. She works in Robins class on Wednesday, Thursday and Friday.

Mrs Winterlich

Suzanne Winterlich works in Kingfishers . Mrs Winterlich has a black cat called Matt. She is kind and friendly to everyone she meets and likes chocolate!

Mrs Dean

Kirsty Dean works with a child in Eagles and Swifts , and is also a lunchtime supervisor one day a week. Mrs Dean does running club, she is sporty. She has a son and a daughter.

Tina Button is a Teaching assistant in Eagles and Swifts as well as helping at lunchtime. She is kind and helpful, she is lovely and everyone likes her. She looks pretty and loves southern fried chicken!

Mrs Goodson-Field

Nicky Goodson-Field is a teaching assistant working in Eagles class on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday. She is new to Spaldwick but we already have noticed her lovely smile.

Our music tutors are Piano Ms Collins, Woodwind Miss Homewood and Guitar Mr Travis.

 

                  

          

Teddy Robinson

Teddy Robinson is the School mascot. He lies in the Robins classroom. You can take Teddy Robinson home if you are the best pupil of the day. He sits on the printer wearing warm clothes.  He has his own email address and would be delighted to hear from you.

                    Max

Max sits in the Swifts classroom all day and goes home with someone who has been good all day. People who get Max write in his log book. Max joined Spaldwick School in 2006 when Mrs Arbuthnott found him. He wars dungarees and a shirt. Max is furry and cuddly.

Patrick

Patrick is a penguin from the Falklands, he was given to us by Patrick who worked in the Antarctic. One Patrick is now on a boat on his way to somewhere where it is very cold, our Patrick is in Spaldwick!
