If you haven’t already booked an appointment with your child’s class teacher, please do – places are filling up quickly 🙂
We have contacted the bus company and have confirmation that the Grafham bus will be running as usual at the end of the school day.
We have our Spring Term parents evenings next week on Wednesday 28th February and Thursday 1st March – watch out for appointment letters in bags tomorrow. Thank you.
You will have received a flier for a pupil – run jumble sale in your child’s bag. It’s taking place on 31st January. Can we ask you to send items in on the day please and not before? We have no room to store them!
Thank you 🙂
Please ensure that your children are safely with you when they leave school. We have been informed that children who are going home with parents have run through the gate into the bus bay into the path of cars. Thank you for your support in this, Mrs Arbuthnott.
Now that the Christmas play is getting closer, our PE slot on a Monday will be used for rehearsals. This means that the Swifts will only have PE on a Tuesday afternoon for the next 3 weeks. Please make sure that they have their PE kits in school all the time.
On another note, just a quick reminder to bring back the letters for the Christmas play, regarding tickets and the creche, so that we can do our best to get you all of the tickets that you ask for.
WOW! What a brilliant first half term we have had Swifts! You have all worked incredibly hard! I hope you all have lots of rest over half term and come back nice and refreshed!
Mrs Field has kindly asked if the Swifts could practise logging in and out of Mathletics and Purple Mash independently over half term. This will make the Swifts learning time in our ICT sessions longer!
One last thing!! On THURSDAY (19th October) the Swifts are going to go on a Harvest Welly Walk! Please can you make sure your child brings in their wellies and a coat on Thursday. 🙂
What a lovely first day we had Swifts! 🙂 I have updated the Swifts class page with all the information that you need to know! 🙂
The morning of Wednesday 24th May is the KS1 sports festival. The Robins, Swifts and Blackbirds will be taking part in 11 multi skills activities run by the Eagle Sports leaders. Please make sure you come to school in your PE kit. Fingers crossed for good weather!
We have created a new Mr Man Or Little Miss, drawn the new character and started to write our stories.
We have been continuing with adding tens and units and drawing our own numberlines.
Red Kites visited our classroom to share their story books.
We visited our new Blackbird classroom on Wednesday and Thursday- we looked at a book called ‘Journey’.
