Our Early Years Environmental Area
We’ve made some exciting new developments to our school grounds, creating an outdoor classroom with a focus on the environment for our early years children.
By installing a Bug Hotel, Potting Table and Straight Planter, our children can further explore nature as they watch plants grow and learn about the plant lifecycle and create wonderful homes for mini beasts before watching them move into their very own hotel.
These excellent resources will develop our children’s understanding of the world.
We have also had a fantastic selection of resources order generic neurontin installed to support and encourage literacy outdoors. The Giant Chalkboard and Whiteboard inspire our young children to write and draw what they see in the environment while the storytelling chair provides an area for storytelling and reading to take place.
Finally, we have had a wonderful Walk-In Store installed featuring Nature Identification Charts to enable our children to independently explore and identify minibeasts.
For this project, we worked with Pentagon Play who design and install outdoor learning environments for schools and nurseries. You can visit their website here – www.pentagonplay.co.uk
