School meals are £2.30 daily, payments are made using the online e-payments system School Grid. Pupils in Foundation Stage, Year One and Year Two are entitled to a ‘free’ school meal as part of Universal School Meals provision.
Our lunches are provided by Dolce and cooked on-site. Children can choose between two hot options or a jacket potato or a cold packed lunch. Children are encouraged to eat with their friends, sitting in family groups.
School meals are an important part of a child’s social development and it is essential that they feel comfortable when eating away from home. At school, we try to make lunchtime more of an occasion where children can sit with their friends and enjoy eating socially together.
Pupils can have a packed lunch. Please do NOT include nut products as part of a packed lunch due to allergies within a number of school pupils. We ask that pupils do not have fizzy drinks.
Pupil Premium is additional funding given to schools to help raise the attainment of pupils. It is paid to schools according to the number of pupils who have been registered as eligible for free school meals at any point in the last 6 years or been in care for 6 months or longer.
