A great start back Kestrels!

It’s been a super busy start to the Summer Term in the Kestrels, we’ve been trying to finish our pneumatic creatures, started to work on our athletics skills, sketching and painting… everyone enjoying being able to get outside!

I have updated the class web page, but in case you haven’t spotted it, there is a slight change to the homework routine – please can homework be handed in by Wednesday each week.

Kestrel Class Trip Information:

Well, it’s looking rather damp & chilly for Wednesday’s trip to Hamerton Zoo Park, so please make sure your child has a waterproof coat to wear, along with wellie or walking boots. The children must be wearing school uniform on their top half, but as the weather isn’t great, they can wear more practical trousers. Please can you pop a carrier bag into one of their pockets – it might come in handy to sit on!

Don’t forget that they need a pack lunch and a drink or two.

Look forward to meeting you in the car park there @9.30am.

Many thanks,

Mrs Mallace

Kestrel poets reciting in the rainforest!

The rainforest has taken over the Kestrels’ classroom, creating a lovely setting for their poetry recitals – each and every one of which has been fantastic & I can’t wait to hear the rest! Take a look at the carousel of photo’s on our class page, and maybe you could come in for a closer look during the open evening next week.

Grown ups please can you help your Kestrel put maximum effort into their homework (including them reading & discussing their books with you)- it is all aimed at helping their progress.

Many thanks,

Mrs Mallace
